Copper Leaf Hotels draws its inspiration from the ancient and magnificent Thamirabarani River that gracefully flows through Tirunelveli, where our hotel finds its home. In Tamil, the term “Thamiram” signifies copper red, and “barani” translates to leaf; together paying tribute to the ever-giving waterbody that stands as a testament to time itself. Our legacy of 76 years, rooted in impeccable hospitality traces its roots back to 1946 with the inauguration of Shri Vani Vilas in the heart of Colombo, Sri Lanka. As the years unfolded, our journey brought us closer to home, leading to the establishment of Barani Hotels, an exlusive hotel consisting of 54 comfortable accommodations, followed by Nellai Saravana Bhava, a cherished South Indian restaurant chain with six restaurants today ; synonymous with warmth and service in the bustling town of Tirunelveli. Following this, the inception of Twin Town marked a modern venture seamlessly blending tradition, catering to diverse taste palates of all ages.
